Backflow cones have a small hole in the bottom which draws the smoke downwards, creating the waterfall like effect. They are specifically for use with backflow burners.
These backflow incense burner cones from Native Soul and Tribal Soul are the perfect blend to create a calming atmosphere, restoring balance to the mind and soul with the added benefit of White Sage to cleanse and purify your space and clear away any negative energies.
We have 2 variations: White Sage and Lavender from Native Soul or White Sage and Palo Santo from Tribal Soul. Both are long duration Jumbo cones. They would not be suitable for our smaller backflow burners like the Riverflow or the Small Pebble one. They would work well with the Apple, the Pear, the Lotus Hand and the Violet Dragon.
White Sage is well known for it's purification and cleansing qualities of course. Palo Santo (Holy Wood in Spanish) has been part of the South American culture for centuries. The wood of this wild tree was traditionally burned by Incas and Shamans for spiritual purifying, energy cleansing and healing. Many people burn palo santo sticks for smudging in the same way as you would use a sage stick/bundle. Palo Santo sticks can be difficult to keep alight and smouldering however so burning it in incense form make things a bit easier!
